Hydro Systems Metro - Flatiron Building Bathroom Tub

Hydro Systems Metro - Flatiron Building Bathroom Tub

Named after the Fuller Construction Company, the "Fuller Building" quickly took on the Flatiron nickname. Flatiron became its nickname as a nod to the building's resemblance to an old-fashioned flat iron. Its eye-catching design combined elements of French and Italian Renaissance architecture in an effort to attract businesses to this formerly residential and retail-oriented neighborhood. Lion heads, Greek faces, fleur de leis and enveloping geometric designs adorn the terra cotta exterior, which recalls an Italian Renaissance palazzo. The Flatiron Building has become an icon representative of New York City and what praise it garnered was often for the cleverness of the engineering involved.

A bathtub inspired by such a legendary landmark must be comparatively eye-catching and the Tribeca is just that. The tub is classical in its foundation, but like the Flatiron Building, it exudes a quintessentially cool New York style. With a sturdy body of geometric curves and linear details, the Tribeca embodies the essence of a building so unique; the surrounding neighborhood was named for it.
